Cobham Special Mission has provided the UK MoD with Electronic Warfare Flying Training for over 30 years and more recently NATO and the Royal Saudi Air Force. The aim of this training is to ensure pilots and operators can operate in a hostile Electronic Warfare (EW) environment and to Operationally Assure that equipment is fit to conduct operations.
EW Ground School – A good understanding of Electronic Warfare not only provides a core foundation to conduct effective training, but also live coalition operations. The Cobham Ground School syllabus covers all elements of theoretical and tactical EW and can be tailored to suit the respective customer’s requirement
Electronic Attack – Cobham offers the latest radar Electronic Attack (EA) techniques against Air, Maritime and Land based radars and communications. These techniques include the use of traditional noise through to the Advanced Digital Radar Frequency Memory, including pulse prediction to teach the individual or team to identify EA and also how to counter such hostile techniques.
Threat Simulation – Our Threat Simulation provide a high fidelity representation of Airborne radars and active Anti-Ship Missile threats in order to provide an effective stimulus for RWR and maritime EW equipment.
Exhibitors & Sponsors
Having had the opportunity to present and discuss our latest development and later on to personally meet and greet so many potential customers over the course of the day was great. We received very positive feedback from various sources and from our perspective as an exhibitor we are absolutely keen to join the next event this year.
It is a pleasure to work with not only professionals, but with people who also have a passion for our challenging environment.
Organisation and visiting clientele show a high number of representatives with SIGINT/EW background. This makes this event exclusively attended by customers with knowledge about products in our portfolio contrary to general big defence exhibitions.
Thank you very much for an excellent EW GCC 2016 event. As always, I enjoyed the specific opportunities, the guided networking, and of course the strategic discussions. It is my personal opinion that you’ve played a significant part in helping us to establish ourselves as a global player.
